Then, she is allowed to release her hands to switch to a different base with the exception below b:
EXCEPTION: Top person may release one hand to grasp the hand of another base,
post or bracer to adjust position.
So, as long as she goes right to the shoulder of the bases when she releases, it’s legal and she can only do that one hand at a time like she does. She can’t let go of both hands at the same time and then regrab.
